Danes Hill School

Danes Hill School in Oxshott is situated in 55 acres of Surrey countryside and has just about every facility a pupil could wish for, including its own swimming pool and six sports fields.

B&H were invited to install a sound system into their school hall (The Ark) following a referral from a local church. An L’Acoustics system was quoted consisting of 2 KIVA per side with 2 5XT speakers acting as infill, a SB15m sub-bass & an LA4X amplifier to power it all.

An Allen & Heath GLD80 digital mixing console with stage-boxes was also installed at control.

Following on from this successful install B&H were asked to upgrade the sound system at their swimming pool. A 100v line amplifier was installed with a new equipment rack & 3 Sennheiser Evolution 100 Series radio mic systems.

After the swimming pool, B&H installed a new sound system on their sports field. The expectation was that it needed to cover the field even on busy Sports Days when they are crowds of people. The new system installed consisted of 2 horn speakers with a wide dispersion, with a 100v line Australian Monitor mixer amp to power it all. A Sennheiser LSP500 portable system was also supplied that connected into the sports field system & enables the school to use it wherever needed.

These installations delighted the school; so much so, that we have provided several hire systems for their events throughout the year, including their family day and their speech day.
